HoopDirt.com can confirm that Hunter College (NY) has hired NYU assistant coach John Pelin as their next head men’s basketball coach.  He replaces Shay Berry who resigned back in May.  Pelin had spent the past eight seasons on Joe Nesci’s staff at NYU – he was promoted to Senior Assistant Coach prior to the 2014-15

I have now heard from two separate sources that former Cal assistant John Montgomery will named as an assistant at Hawaii.  He will replace Norm Parrish who became the head coach at Westminster College (UT) back in August.  Following a six year stint at Cal, Montgomery spent last season as the DBO at San Francisco.
