Buena Vista University (BVU) Head Men’s Basketball Coach Brian Van Haaften has announced that he is stepping down effective March 2. He has accepted a position at Dordt College in Sioux Center, Iowa. “I want to thank BVU for the most awesome time of my life,” says Van Haaften. “These 22 years were so great.

Gee had been the Lancers head coach for the past five seasons where he compiled a 42-120 record (7-26 this past season). Before being hired at Longwood, Gee worked as the associate head coach at Cleveland State (2006-13), St. Bonaventure (2003-06)
