According to sources, Eddie Jordan has told Rutgers AD Tim Pernetti that he is not interested in becoming the next head coach at his Alma Mater. Northern Michigan candidates
Three candidates have emerged to fill the vacant job at Northern Michigan. They are: Lance Randall – Associate head coach UW-Stevens Point Kevin Mondro – Assistant coach Loyola (Chicago) Doug Lewis, Jr – Head coach Central State (OH) Randall and Mondro will interview on campus Friday, and Lewis will go in on Saturday.
Iowa State Hires Alum
Former Iowa State star Fred Hoiberg will be named head coach at his alma mater. Hoiberg currently works in Minnesota Timberwolves front office.

Mt. St. Mary’s has begun interviewing to replace Milan Brown who departed for Holy Cross a few weeks ago. We are hearing that a couple of JUCO jobs have been filled. Chris Martin will be named head coach of Gloucester County College (NJ). Martin was the head coach at Winslow Township for 8 years. Lance Tucker will be hired at Bunker Hill CC (MA). Tucker was the head coach at Emmanuel College from 2001-2004.
McDermott offered Creighton job
I’ve heard from multiple sources that Creighton AD Bruce Rasmussen has offered the job to Iowa State head coach Greg McDermott. Driesell Hired at The Citadel
Maryland assistant basketball coach Chuck Driesell is expected to be named head coach at The Citadel, according to sources. Driesell has been at Maryland since 2006. An official announcement will be made in the coming days.
