Dino Gaudio has been relieved of his duties as the men’s basketball coach at Wake Forest.The university has scheduled a press conference for 4:30 Wednesday. Gaudio is 61-31 overall in three season since taking over for Skip Prosser.

Conroy headed to Tulane

Sources are confirming that The Citadel’s Ed Conroy will be named Head Coach at Tulane tomorrow. Conroy officially turned down the UNC-Wilmington job earlier today paving the way for him to accept the Tulane offer. Sources also say that Mike Rice (Robert Morris) was offered the job first, but turned it down.

One of the longest searches out there is still going. After firing head coach Benny Moss on January 28th, the search for his successor continues. We know that Citadel head coach Ed Conroy was offered the job last week. We hear that he has not accepted it yet because he has gotten involved at Marshall.
