The week 10 winners are:

D1: Darian DeVries – Drake University

Weekly record (overall): 2-0 (14-3)

Past week’s results: 89-78 W vs Indiana State, 76-58 W at Illinois State

Highlights: Two huge Missouri Valley Conference wins last week for DeVries and his Bulldogs have now moved Drake into a share of the lead in the MVC. On Wednesday, in front of their largest home crowd of the season, the Bulldogs knocked off Indiana State 89-78, handing the visitors their first MVC loss of the season. On Saturday, Drake went on the road and snapped Illinois State’s six game winning streak with a commanding 76-58 victory. DeVries squad is now 9-0 at home on the season, and 5-1 in the MVC.

NCAA D2: Dave Moore – University of West Georgia

Weekly record (overall): 3-0 (14-2)

Past week’s results: 80-66 W vs Lee, 86-65 W vs Delta State, 77-71 W at Mississippi College

Highlights: Three conference wins last week for UWG has improved their record to 14-2 on the season, and 10-2 in the Gulf South Conference. All three wins last week were against teams that were over .500 in GSC play, and now give West Georgia a one game lead in the conference standings. The Wolves are now 8-0 at home on the year, and riding a five-game winning streak.

NCAA D3: D.P. Harris – Saint Vincent College

Weekly record (overall): 2-0 (16-0)

Past week’s results: 83-66 W at Chatham, 84-74 W vs Franciscan

Highlights: St. Vincent is off to an historic start to their season, as their 16-0 record is their best-ever to start a campaign, and the 16-game winning streak ties the program record that was set back in 2004-05. Harris’ Bearcats are now one of just two undefeated NCAA Division III teams, and one of only five unbeaten squads from across all NCAA classifications. On the season, SVC is outscoring their opponents 84.6-72.0 per game, while turning them over an average of 17.4 times per contest.

NAIA: Dee Brown – Roosevelt University

Weekly record (overall): 2-0 (14-2)

Past week’s results: 84-71 W vs St. Ambrose, 62-55 W vs St. Francis

Highlights: With two more wins last week, Brown has the Lakers rolling in just his second season at the helm. Roosevelt’s 14-2 start, along with a perfect 8-0 record in Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference play have both set program records. The Lakers are currently ranked #20 in the nation, which is the highest ranking in program history. They are also on a three-game winning streak, and 7-1 at home so far this season.

JUCO: Ryan Miley – Hocking College

Weekly record (overall): 3-0 (10-5)

Past week’s results: 95-90 W at Edison State, 86-63 W vs Bryant & Stratton (OH), 85-71 W vs Miami-Hamilton

Highlights: A three win week for Miley included a milestone victory. The Hawks 95-90 victory at Edison State on Wednesday was the 100th of Miley’s career at Hocking. Over the weekend, Miley’s rode big first halves in each game to earn two more wins, and push their winning streak to three. On the season, they are 3-1 in the OCCAC, and 4-1 at home.
